“Deo Dicamus Gratias”

It is Hallgrimskirkja´s talented chamber choir, Schola Cantorum, that gives the final concert of the festival this year, Sunday August 23rd at 17.00.

The programme includes choral classics such as Allegri´s Miserere as well as the premiere of a new composition by John Speight, Missa Semplice for choir, soprano solo and harp. Harpist Elisabet Waage will be accompanying the choir. Also premiered will be works by Icelandic composers Sigurdur Saevarsson and Jon Hlodver Askelsson. Conductor is Hordur Askelsson.
