We´re in for a magnificent opening ceremony this year! The Hague International Baroque Orchestra and the Hallgrimskirkja Motet Choir will perform excerpts from Handel´s oratorio Solomon, an arts exhibition by icelandic painter Helgi Thorgils Fridjonsson will open in the church and last but not least a group of baroque dancers will perform the minuet in appropriate dress. The bishop of Iceland will speak at the ceremony.
